Last year I sat on a board that was developing strategies to handle the future growth that we’re going to experience here in Northern Colorado. Our community is supposed to double in size in the next ten years.
An expert in the “Future” (I honestly laughed when he was introduced, but he shared some great stuff) from the University of Colorado gave a presentation detailing what it’s going to take for communities to be successful in the year 2050.
I think it has some value for churches and church leaders.
According to his research, in the year 2050, successful places will have….
Grown and Attracted Talent
Fostered Innovation
Built on Competitive Advantages
Created Entrepreneurial Places
Kept People Close (sharing of ideas)
Created Opportunities for All
